Black Man Repellant?
Hey everybody! Have you missed me much? Sorry I’ve been M.I.A Swinging between here, the new blog, full time job, my packed social schedule (snicker) and getting into new projects things have been a tad overwhelming To promote the new site I’ve been joining other social communities with topics relating to mine. Of course I’m talking about dating and living a single life over there so I somehow end up joining another dating site. Really, I’m so OVER online dating. It does nothing for me. This is strictly business.
So, I’m really just there to use the discussion forums but I do have my Phantom of the Opera-esque picture posted (half face for all you non theater goers). Anyway this site has an IM function so every freaking time I log on to chat in the forums and talk about Single in L.A. messages from people wanting to chat pop up. I’m nothing if not a people person. And what better way to promote and garner ideas than to talk directly to people one on one?
Odd thing is: not ONE Black man has IM’d me. NOT ONE!!! LOL! I’m down with the swirl. We all know that I do not discriminate so it’s really not an issue. I’m just befuddled that I can clearly see that all these Black men have viewed my profile but NOT ONE has felt the need to contact me. I am, however, strangely inundated with messages, IMs and marriage proposals from Eastern European men now living in SoCal. What gives??

Poll Results
A couple of weeks ago I posted a poll about men and dating. Actually the results are still listed over there in the upper right hand corner (be patient with me, I’m a little swamped these days). Anyhow, many answered that men might not be dating women like they should because they don’t know how (Cliff’s Notes). A few guys actually sent me e-mails stating the same: we don’t know what you all (women) expect/want/need.
That’s why you have me! I wrote a three part series called “Teach Men to Date.” Check it out:
Teach Men to DateYou Want a Date? It’s All in Your Approach
And give me your feedback. You agree? Disagree? Think there’s more to it?
